Tektronix 2465 4-Channel Oscilloscope
Tektronix’s 2465 is one of the most well-known and trusted portable four-channel oscilloscopes that are used globally in many types of electronic test applications. With its ability to measure accurately and be flexible, it has been widely accepted in industries such as aerospace, industrial automation, telecommunications, and research & development. The Tektronix 2465 offers 300 MHz of bandwidth, right at the probe tip and can perform a fast sweep of 500 psec/div for high-speed signals. It also has four separate and independent input channels, each having the capability of being set to either 50 ohms or 1 mega-ohms of impedance and can measure vertically from 2 mV to 5 volts/division. The oscilloscopes’s advanced triggering system provides engineers with an advanced way to capture complex or intermittent waveforms over a minimum trigger bandwidth of 500 MHz using auto-level, delay-by-event, and Boolean logic functions.
There are many uses for the Tektronix 2465 Oscilloscope including R&D, Telecommunications, Aerospace and Industrial Automation. For example, the 2465 is essential for developing and repairing digital logic boards, analog circuits, and RF systems, because it allows an engineer to simultaneously compare four different signals. In addition to displaying wave forms, the oscilloscope also provides a variety of cursors for making direct voltage, time, frequency, and phase measurements of the waveform on the screen. Some versions of the 2465 include additional capabilities for automating test equipment, such as a DMM, crystal controlled time base (for 0.001% timing accuracy), GPIB programmable and TV waveform measurement capability.
