The TBS1042 Digital Storage Oscilloscope is a 40 MHz digital storage oscilloscope manufactured by Tektronix. This oscilloscope is a two-channel model. This model offers real-time sampling in a digital format, which allows the oscilloscope to capture the signals more accurately. The instrument has a sample rate of 500 MS/s on each channel. This oscilloscope has the capability of automating various tasks, such as measurements, auto data logging, and auto-ranging for signals. The TBS1042 DSO offers the vertical resolution of eight bits. The vertical sensitivity of the device is 2 mV to 5 V/div. This model also has a feature for calibrated fine adjustment.
The Tektronix digital storage oscilloscope TBS1042 has a nonvolatile internal storage capability, which enables the user to store 10 front-panel setups. Numerous trigger types are available as well, including edge, video, and pulse width trigger. This model has an advanced QVGA active color TFT. It offers two types of displays: dots and vectors. The instrument also includes a menu for auto setting. The user can control auto setting with the help of a single control button. This feature enables the user to control square and sine wave signals.
The TBS1042 Digital Storage Oscilloscope includes automatic measurements for various waveforms, such as period, frequency, width, rise time, fall time, mean, RMS, and many more. The Tektronix TBS1042 Digital Storage Oscilloscope also comes equipped with open-choice software for PC communication. This model includes multiple language interfaces for users. These advanced features aid with completing quick and accurate measurements.
