The TBS1052B-EDU is an educational model in the TBS1000B series of oscilloscopes from Tektronix. This model has two channels and a frequency bandwidth of 50 MHz with 50 MHz with a sample rate of one GS per second. This model is designed to fulfill the educational requirements of schools and universities, while allowing the educators to integrate teaching materials on the oscilloscope. The TBS1052B-EDU makes use of a new innovative courseware system to enable this capability. With this model, educational institutes can provide the students with hands-on experience, help them with research, and prepare them for industrial challenges.
The Tektronix TBS1052B-EDU digital storage oscilloscope offers a DC gain accuracy of ±3 % for the voltage range of 10 mV to 5 volts per division. The instrument can offer the vertical resolution of eight bits. It also supports the input coupling mechanism for AC, DC, and ground terminals. The TBS1052B-EDU comes with the built-in impedance of one mega Ohms. It is connected in parallel with the capacitance of 20 Pico-Farads, which enables the user to control the measurement schemes for accurate analysis.
The Tektronix TBS1052B-EDU digital storage oscilloscope incorporates USB interfaces. It comes with the USB host port on the front panel. It supports the USB flash drive. The USB device port is integrated into the back panel to support PC connectivity. This smart feature enables the students to export the results of their lab assignments quickly. The PC connectivity further enhances the instrument flexibility in terms of various options.
