Keithley 2400 SourceMeter Instrument
The Keithley 2400 Source Meter is a universal tool that combines high voltage and current sourcing capability with high measurement capability. This tool is suitable for use by research laboratories and by industrial automation, where the DC power source is coupled together with the features of an integrated 6½-digit multimeter. This combination creates the ability for the execution of high DC parametric tests simultaneously by sourcing voltage or current and also by measuring high-resolution electrical parameters. This tool’s small form allows for easier integration into automated test equipment and manufacturing test floorspace, shortening set-up times and eliminating complicated measurement processes.
Engineered with measurement and source circuits close together, the 2400 Source Meter reduces the delays and synchronization involved when utilizing multiple tools. Having the capability of being able to work as a voltage or current source, voltage or current meter, and ohmmeter, the double capability creates the ability for multiple functions. This is very beneficial when utilizing the tool for the characterization of semiconductors, where high-resolution measurements for the I-V and the extraction for the device parameters need to be accomplished. Integrated features such as custom sweeping functions, contact check capability, and test sequencing make its operation even more superior for automated test applications.
The 2400 Source Meter also has superior six-wire and four-wire measurement and superior remote sensing, delivering measurements under the harshest test conditions.
