Keysight U2722A USB Modular Source Measure Unit
The Keysight U2722A functions as a standalone instrument or as a modular unit installed within a compatible chassis. The unit features three independent output channels that support simultaneous multichannel sourcing and measurement operations. The unit provides a voltage output range of -20 V to 20 V across all three channels. The current line regulation for the Keysight U2722A USB Modular Source Measure Unit is specified at 0.04% of the selected programmed range. The current load regulation is rated at 0.04% plus an offset of 100 µA per output channel. The output voltage overshoot during turn-on or turn-off transitions is specified at less than 0.1% plus 10 mV. The temperature coefficient is specified at a maximum of 0.15 per °C after a 30-minute warm-up.
The unit delivers low current measurement capability down to the nanoampere level for sensitive device testing. The high-resolution current setting for the low-current measurement range is specified at 100 pA resolution. The guard output resistance is rated at 0.2 kΩ to effectively minimize errors caused by leakage currents. The output noise from 10 Hz to 20 MHz measures 50 mV peak-to-peak for current ranges below 1 mA. The U2722A USB Modular Source Measure Unit is controlled remotely over a dedicated USB interface using Agilent Measurement Manager software. The programming is also supported through the Standard Commands for Programmable Instruments (SCPI) protocol. It includes built-in programming syntax error detection along with a dedicated user calibration capability. A self-test function is available in the unit to verify correct instrument operation prior to beginning measurements.
The source measurement unit is rated for operating temperatures from 0°C to +50°C for indoor environments only. The relative humidity must be maintained within the range of 20% to 85% RH non-condensing for specified performance. It is rated for altitudes up to 2000 meters and classified at pollution degree 2. These specified environmental conditions must be maintained to ensure accurate and reliable measurement results throughout operation.
