The high-performance test tool NH Research 4600-18 AC Electronic Load is made to handle demanding applications needing both linear and non-linear AC loading. With its accurate measuring capabilities, the NHR 4600-18 provides high-precision readings for voltage (50 - 350 V, 0.1% accuracy and 0.01% resolution) and current (0 - 180 A, 0.2% accuracy and 0.01% resolution). A number of emulation modes are supported by the system, such as the sophisticated Complex Non-Linear Waveform (CNL) mode and Constant Current (CC), Constant Resistance (CR), Constant Voltage (CV), Constant Power (CP), Short Circuit (SC), and Unity Power Factor (UPF). The unit under test (UUT) can be thoroughly tested in a variety of scenarios, guaranteeing its dependability under a broad range of loading conditions thanks to these modes.
The NHR 4600-18 has an easy-to-use PC-hosted graphic interface that replaces conventional front-panel controls with a more natural, soft-panel layout. Rapid changes to current, power, and crest factors are possible with this interface's simple programming and recall of up to 100-step multi-mode macros. Furthermore, the graphical editor allows the user to create custom waveforms, which gives you more flexibility when simulating intricate transient situations and guarantees that the load is compatible with its capabilities.
The NHR 4600-18 supports many drivers, including as NI LabVIEW, IVI, and ActiveX, and provides RS-232 and USB options for communication. With an 80 GB hard drive, 512 MB of RAM, and a 3 GHz processor, the machine runs Windows XP Test automation and efficiency are improved by the optional emPowerTM LE test executive.
