TDK Lambda GEN30-25 Programmable DC Power Supply
The TDK Lambda GEN30-25 is a programmable DC power supply engineered for industrial testing and laboratory applications. It supports constant voltage and constant current operating modes with fully automatic crossover between both states. In constant voltage mode, the maximum line regulation and maximum load regulation are each specified at 5 mV. The output voltage ripple and noise peak-to-peak at 20 MHz are rated at 50 mV with RMS ripple not exceeding 6 mV. The temperature coefficient of the model is specified at 50 PPM per degree Celsius following a 30-minute warm-up.
The GEN30-25 power supply is equipped with built-in RS-232 and RS-485 serial communication interfaces as a standard feature. The external analog programming and monitoring are user selectable between 0–5 V and 0–10 V reference ranges. The high-resolution 16-bit ADCs and DACs provide precise digital control over all programmable voltage and current parameters.
The front panel of the power supply provides dedicated encoders for independent voltage and current output adjustment. The coarse and fine tuning modes are selectable from the front panel or via software commands. The 4-digit voltage display provides a readout accuracy of 0.05% plus or minus 1 count. The 4-digit current display operates at a measurement accuracy of 0.2% plus or minus 1 count.
The GEN30-25 power supply delivers a rated output of 30 V and 25 A for a total continuous power rating of 750 W. The model accepts a wide range of single-phase AC input from 85 to 265 Vac at 47 to 63 Hz. The active power factor correction rated at a typical value of 0.99 ensures stable operation across all input conditions.
The GEN30-25 Programmable DC Power Supply achieves power conversion efficiency of 82% at 100 Vac and 85% at 200 Vac. The Safe Start mode can be enabled to restart with output off to protect the connected load. The independent remote ON/OFF and remote enable/disable inputs allow flexible integration within complex automated industrial systems. The unit is constructed using reliable modular and surface mount technology for sustained long-term industrial operation.
