The TDK Lambda GEN50-200 is a 10 kW DC programmable power supply for testing applications. The unit comes in a compact 3 U architecture and provides exceptional power density while preserving valuable rack space during installation planning processes and upgrades. It integrates advanced programming functions supporting precise output management during complex evaluation procedures and validation tasks.
The built-in remote analog programming enables dependable control without additional external conversion hardware for connected system integration. The digital communication options support coordinated automation workflows. The unit contains integrated LAN connectivity and supports LXI-compliant networked operation for centralized equipment management. USB interfaces provide convenient configuration access and simple communication during commissioning maintenance and diagnostics.
The RS-232 and RS-485 connections enhance interoperability with legacy control. Optional isolated analog voltage control accommodates sensitive integration requirements using electrically separated interfaces for accurate command transfer. The selectable control ranges support 5 V and 10 V implementations across varied application frameworks with consistent signal integrity levels. The front panel incorporates digital encoders for accurate parameter adjustments during operation across multiple configured output states.
The GEN50-200 power supply allows users to select fine tuning or coarse tuning according to application requirements. Four-digit LED meters display voltage and current readings instantly for informed operational decisions. The existing foldback protection provides fault management and minimizes unnecessary stress exposure during abnormal load response scenarios. Start-up behavior can be restored to previous configuration or be set to protect zero outputs to afford greater flexibility in commissioning behavior.
The last setting memory preserves critical configuration parameters without battery-dependent retention during extended equipment downtime periods reliably. The output values and communication settings and protection thresholds that can be stored are used for consistent configuration recovery after power is restored.
The GEN50-200 has 208 V AC, 400 V AC, and 480 V AC 3-phase input options to support a wide range of installation requirements. Operating at 50 Hz and 60 Hz makes it possible to deploy internationally. It provides efficient operation as high as 83% at low line in steady operation under rated loading.
