TDK Lambda RFE2500-24 AC-DC Industrial Power Supply
The TDK Lambda RFE2500-24 is a 2304 W AC-DC industrial power supply engineered for demanding automation applications. It provides a regulated 24 V DC output with an adjustable range of 19.2 V to 29 V. The unit accepts input frequencies from 47 to 63 Hz for diverse global power installations. At 110 Vac, the maximum input current reaches 15 A while at 230 Vac the draw is limited to 12 A. The inrush current is controlled below 50 A ensuring a safe and smooth startup in all operating conditions. The input frequency safety certification is validated specifically for 50 and 60 Hz standard grid frequencies.
The AC-DC Industrial Power Supply supports an optional isolated PMBus (I²C) interface accessible via the /S suffix. A plug in LAN module in the power supply provides an alternative path for remote monitoring and network based control. The AC Fail signal operates as an open collector output active within the 85 to 270 Vac input range. The parallel operation supports up to 8 units using single wire current sharing at 5 % accuracy.
The power supply accepts a nominal input voltage between 100 and 240 Vac for wide operational coverage. The safety certification extends input compatibility across 90 to 264 Vac for broader installation environments. The RFE2500-24 delivers its peak output of 2304 W at 96 A at input voltages above 180 Vac. For input voltages ranging from 100 to 132 Vac, the maximum deliverable current reduces to 62.5 A at 1500 W. The line regulation is rated at 60 mV and load regulation is maintained at 120 mV for reliable output stability.
The overcurrent protection in the RFE2500-24 AC-DC Industrial Power Supply triggers above 110 % at 115 Vac and between 105 to 120 % at 230 Vac. The overvoltage protection activates at 110 % of output setpoint and resets by cycling the AC input supply. The power supply’s overtemperature protection shuts down the unit automatically and provides a warning signal when thermal limits are exceeded. The remote sense compensation is rated at 0.5 V per wire to offset voltage drops across output cabling.
