TDK Lambda Z20-10-U Programmable Power Supply
The TDK Lambda Z20-10-U is a programmable DC power supply built for industrial automation applications. This unit comes in a compact 2U rack mount and bench top enclosure format. The model measures 70 mm wide by 83 mm high and 350 mm deep weighing about 1900 grams. The model accepts a single phase AC input voltage between 85 and 265 Vac nominal. This wide input voltage range supports operation on most global power grids without modification. The input frequency range for the power supply spans from 47 Hz up to 63 Hz for compatibility.
The power supply requires no minimum load to maintain stable regulated output performance at all times. The overcurrent protection on the model is user programmable and supports a foldback operating mode. The overvoltage protection triggers a complete shutdown and remains fully user programmable on this unit. The overtemperature protection offers a choice between latched and non latching operating modes for flexibility. A 4 digit display clearly show both the output voltage and the current readings with an accuracy that reaches 0.5 % of rated voltage or current.
The Z20-10-U Programmable Power Supply delivers a rated output voltage of 20 Vdc under full load. The output voltage can be adjusted across the entire 0 to 20 Vdc range as needed. The rated output current reaches 10 A while rated output power totals 200 W for this unit. The typical efficiency for the power supply reaches 79 % under its rated output load conditions. The voltage ripple noise on the model is 0.006 Vrms across a 5 Hz to 1 MHz bandwidth. The current ripple noise remains as low as 0.015 Arms over the same frequency range. The load regulation on the Power Supply stays within 2 mV plus 0.01 % of rated voltage in the constant voltage mode. This level of regulation holds across the full 0 to 100 % load change range. The line regulation in CV mode stays within 2 mV plus 0.01 % across line voltage changes. The transient response recovery time for the Z20-10-U is rated at just 1 ms.
