TDK Lambda ZUP36-12 Programmable DC Power Supply
The TDK Lambda ZUP36-12 delivers a rated DC output voltage of 36 V with a maximum output current of 12 A. The model operates on a wide AC input range of 85 to 265 Vac at 47 to 63Hz. This universal input capability makes it deployable across global power grids without additional power conditioning equipment. The programming voltage accuracy for the DC power supply is specified at 0.02 % + 20 mV. The voltage programming resolution exceeds 0.028 % of the rated output voltage for fine grained control across the full range. The current programming accuracy is 0.4 % + 40 mA with a resolution better than 0.03 % of rated current. The voltage and current programming is achieved via external voltage (0 – 4 V) or resistance (0 – 4 kΩ) input signals.
The Programmable DC Power Supply features built in RS232 and RS485 communication interfaces for remote monitoring and control. The remote On/Off switching capability is supported via TTL signal or dry contact relay input. Up to five units can be connected in parallel using a master slave configuration for higher current output. The series operation supports stacking of two units to extend the usable output voltage range beyond 36 V. The ZUP36-12 supports both constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) operating modes for flexible load control. The CV mode load regulation is maintained at 2 mV + 0.005 % across a 0 to 100 % load change. The line regulation in CV mode holds to 1mV + 0.005 % over the full AC input range. The CV mode recovery time of 0.2 ms ensures a rapid stable output response during transient load events.
The CC mode load regulation is specified at 0.01 % + 5 mA that makes it suitable for precision current delivery applications. The CC mode line regulation holds to 0.01% + 2mA that ensures stable current output across input variations. The temperature drift in CC mode is controlled to 0.02% + 5mA after a 30 minute warm up period. The temperature coefficient in CC mode is 100ppm/°C to ensures stable performance across the operating range.
