The Aeroflex 3060 is an RF Combiner Module that is designed for precise signal routing and summing in automated test environments. It operates within a single-slot 3U PXI form factor and is optimized for integration in modular test systems. The product is built to provide accurate RF performance for applications requiring low loss, high isolation and fast electronic switching across multiple input paths. The Aeroflex 3060 operates over a frequency range from 250 MHz to 2.7 GHz and its peak value is up to 3 GHz. It integrates internal RF switches and power combiners that support up to 3 input ports depending on configuration. The unit enables efficient routing between ports A, B, C and the SUM output for minimizing the need for external cabling. In continuous production applications, each RF path is electronically managed to achieve steady operation and quick switching times.
The module Aeroflex 3060 provides typical insertion loss values below 15 dB for A-to-SUM and maintains return loss above 20 dB for most signal paths. It features isolation between ports greater than 35 dB below 2 GHz and better than 32 dB at higher frequencies. During simultaneous channel operation, its architecture guarantees consistent power distribution and low signal degradation. The internal calibration data stored within the module. Calibration uncertainty for the Aeroflex 3060 PXI RF Combiner remains below 0.2 dB across all operating frequencies at 23 ± 5 °C. Its frequency response flatness without correction is typically less than 2 dB for providing predictable behavior across the entire operating range. The temperature stability of +0.006 dB / °C for the SUM port and +0.002 dB / °C for other paths ensures reliable measurements under varying conditions. The module achieves repeatability better than ± 0.05 dB after mode switching and warm-up.
The Aeroflex 3060 combiner module supports a maximum RF power level of +27 dBm with 3 V DC continuous at the SUM port and +24 dBm at individual input ports. It complies with PXI Specification Revision 2.2 and VXIpnp standards. The device uses SMA connectors for all interfaces and consumes less than 50 mA on each supply rail. The Aeroflex 3060 meets EN 61326-1 Class A electromagnetic compatibility and EN 61010-1 safety standards.
