Anritsu 68163B Synthesized Sweep Generator
The 68163B Synthesized Sweep Generator belongs to the Anritsu 681XXB family of microwave Signal generators. It functions on a frequency range of 2GHz to 40GHz. Its specifications include: 1KHz Frequency Resolution, Output Level Switching Time of 20ms, Power Resolution of 0.01 dB, Output Accuracy of 2 dB, and Minimum and Maximum SSB noise of -96 dBc/Hz and -60 dBc/Hz respectively. The Output Impedance is 50 Ohm. Harmonics (noise) and Non-harmonics (noise) is at -40dBc. Minimum Output Power is -15 dBm and maximum Output Power is +9 dBm (+7 dBm with step attenuators). With higher power option installed, its Output Power reaches +13 dBm.
The Modulation Connectors on the Anritsu 68163B allow the application of external AM, FM, or Square Wave modulation to the RF output signal while the RF Output Connector provides output from a 50 Ohm source. It has an External ALC Connector, which enables the leveling of the RF output signal externally with either a power meter or detector. It comes with a dot matrix LCD screen on which data is displayed in a menu form.
