The Anritsu 68169B Signal Generator is a microprocessor based signal generator with a high-resolution phase-lock capability. It has a maximum Output capacity of +13 dBm. The Anritsu 68169B Synthesized Sweep Generator is a network analysis device that generates a recurring electronic signal, which is aided by an electronic oscillator. The Anritsu 68169B functions on a frequency range of 0.01 GHz to 40 GHz.
The key features of the Anritsu 68169B are: Ultra-low SSB phase noise, - 100 dBc at 10KHz offset from 10GHz, user downloaded complex modulation, Pulse, Phase, AM, and FM modulation, analog, power, alternate, step, and master/slave sweep modes, User level flatness correction, reset, and 360B SS Mode.
The Anritsu 681XXB models possess the self test function. The SELF TEST feature allows the device to perform a self-test, a kind of system check-up that displays any errors detected and the possible causes in a window on the LCD. Using the Reset option on the 68169B will return instrument parameters to default values and abort any pending GPIB I/O. It has a Secure Mode design that disables modulation state displays, power level, and all frequency so that setups stored in secure mode can be recalled safely.
