Cisco IE-3000-8TC Industrial Ethernet Switch
The IE-3000-8TC is an Industrial Ethernet Switch from the manufacturer Cisco. As part of the IE 3000 Series, this switch is equipped with 8 high speed ethernet 10/100 ports. It also features 2 dual-purpose uplinks, one with a 10/100/1000 Ethernet port and the other with an SFP-based Gigabit Ethernet port. This versatile switch offers the connections needed to support up to two Cisco expansion modules at once, including the IEM-3000-8TM= and IEM-3000-8FM= modules. The software image of the switch is a Layer 2 LAN Base Image, and the Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) is 329,451.
This ethernet switch has 128 MB of DRAM and 64 MB of compact flash memory. Featuring a 16 Gbps switching fabric, the IE-3000-8TC is capable of wire-speed switching for optimal operation. LED indicators offer quick visual insight to the status of different aspects of the device. Each port has a status LED, displaying the status of the connection’s activity, speed, integrity, and more. The IE-3000-8TC should be operated within the environmental temperature range of -40°C to 75°C with a noncondensing relative humidity range of 10% to 95%. When not in use, the device can be safely stored within temperatures of -40°C to 85°C. It can be operated at altitudes up to 13,000 ft (3,963 m) and stored at altitudes measuring up to 15,000 ft (4,573 m).
