Keysight N2262A 4x8 Matrix Switch Module
The Keysight N2262A Matrix Switch Module provides structured signal routing for automated test systems. The module contains 32 crosspoints arranged in a four-row by eight-column (4x8) switching matrix. The module supports applications that require large relay matrices. Four N2262A modules can be combined to form a 16 x 8 matrix configuration. This expansion helps test engineers route more signals without redesigning the complete switching architecture and allows more than one switch to close at one time. This feature permits any row combination to connect with selected matrix columns during testing. Up to eight channels can operate in parallel for high-speed switching requirements.
The Keysight N2262A uses armature latching relays for stable connection control. The latching relay operation helps maintain selected paths without continuous coil drive during steady states. The relay design supports mechanical life up to 10 million operations under defined conditions. Electrical relay life is rated at 500 thousand operations at a 1 A load. The module supports a maximum voltage rating of 200 V for compatible signals. Each channel handles up to 1 A current during normal switching operation. The module supports up to 4 A total current across the installed switching assembly and provides a per-module power capacity up to 240 W. The per module apparent power rating reaches 250 VA under specified operating limits. The initial closed channel resistance stays below 1 ohm for controlled low-resistance signal paths.
It aids in coordinated routing when test plans demand parallel connections of measurement paths. The Matrix Switch Module can be used with production validation and laboratory systems. Its matrix format facilitates component testing where various instruments have multiple points of access to the devices. The model integrates into modular platforms where repeatability matters across repeated switching tasks. The design assists in the trustworthy arrangement of measurement procedures.
