Keysight U2531A 2 MSa/s USB Modular Simultaneous Data Acquisition
The Keysight Agilent U2531A 2 MSa/s USB Modular Simultaneous Data Acquisition is a multifunction DAQ module. It provides four differential analog input channels and a 14-bit measurement resolution.
The U2531A module is built for precise waveform capture in dynamic signal analysis tasks. It delivers sampling rates up to 2 MSa/s per channel. The module also includes a FIFO buffer capacity of up to 8 MSa. The dedicated simultaneous acquisition structure preserves timing alignment across all four active input paths. This timing behavior supports phase-related measurements and synchronized event analysis with improved confidence.
The analog input section supports programmable bipolar ranges of ±10 V and ±5 V. The U2531A data acquisition module also supports ±2.5 V and ±1.25 V for lower-amplitude signal acquisition requirements. The unipolar voltage ranges include 0 to 10 V and 0 to 5 V selections for the U2531A USB data module. Additional unipolar settings of 0 to 2.5 V and 0 to 1.25 V are also available.
Each analog input channel is software selectable, which simplifies configuration changes during different measurement sequences and setups quickly. The U2531A modular data acquisition unit operates with DC input coupling for direct measurement of steady-state voltages. The input impedance is 1 G-ohm with 100 pF input capacitance for stable loading. Overvoltage protection supports continuous ±30 V when powered and continuous ±15 V when powered off. The SSI and Star trigger options are also available for synchronized system-level control. Post-trigger and middle-trigger modes further support event-centered capture across varying test conditions.
The digital connectivity of the U2531A USB modular simultaneous data acquisition module includes 24-bit programmable TTL input and output channels for logic interfacing tasks. Two general-purpose digital counter channels extend capability for timing and event-counting applications.
The high-speed USB 2.0 connectivity is implemented with USBTMC USB488 compliance for host communication. The BenchVue software license is included for configuration measurement logging and workflow control.
The Keysight Agilent U2531A modular USB module integrates two 12-bit analog output channels for stimulus duties. The output channel updates at rates up to 1 MSa/s for waveform generation tasks for each channel.
