NI acA2440-20gc Area Scan Camera
The acA2440-20gc is an efficient vision device for scanning and monitoring. The designer and manufacturer of the acA2440-20gc Area Scan Camera is National Instruments. The Basler Ace products are equipped with up to date sensors and fast image capturing technologies. The application of the NI acA2440-20gc Area Scan Camera in large-scale surveillance and monitoring systems is utilized through its combination with National Instruments software and hardware components.
The NI acA2440-20gc doesn’t need external processor support to generate high-definition pictures, since the Area Scan Camera contains noise-elimination, sharpening, and image optimization characteristics. The acA2440-20gc Area Scan Camera is supported by a Sony IMX264 camera sensor. The Sony IMX264 is an optical sensor with 2/3” size. The global shutter and CMOS sensor technology are featured by the Sony IMX264 sensor. The NI acA2440-20gc Area Scan Camera contains a powerful C-mounted lens. The lens is capable of capturing high definition, color, 5 MP pictures with 20 fps maximum frame rate.
The NI acA2440-20gc Area Scan Camera is equipped with a GigE Vison camera interface. The communication and data transfer between the acA2440-20gc and Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems can be accomplished through camera link software suites. For interfacing, the NI acA2440-20gc Area Scan Camera is provided with 1 opto-coupled input port, 1 opto-coupled output port, and 1 GPIO port. The GPIO port is flexible and can be configured as the user’s application needs.
