NH Research CAL300 Calibrator
The NH Research CAL300 Calibrator is a specially designed device made to increase the efficiency of the calibration process for a range of NHR products. It makes automatic calibration easy to use, especially for engineers and staff without a lot of calibration knowledge. The device can efficiently produce accurate calibration results, often within two to three hours. The CAL300 is used in conjunction with an 8½-digit digital multimeter (DMM) that is given by the user, such as the Agilent/Keysight 3458A or a comparable type. Depending on which particular product family is being calibrated, more DC sources or a power resistor box might be needed for a thorough calibration.
A range of NHR products are supported by the device, such as the 9200/9300 Battery Test Systems and the 4700, 4760, and 4300 DC Loads. For accurate calibration of the latter, an NHR Resistive Load Box is necessary. The CAL300's design prioritizes speedy outcomes and ease of usage. The calibration process is made easier by its graphical, interactive application. Users are guided through the connection and calibration procedures by this user-friendly program, which is part of the program package that is supplied. Users can easily manage their data and retain records by saving the calibration data directly to a file or flash disk after the calibration process is complete.
This calibrator can measure AC and DC current; its ranges are 10, 30, and 300A for AC current and 12, 30, and 400A for DC current. It also includes measurements of low-power resistance in the 300 Ω, 3.3 kΩ, and 33 kΩ levels. It offers +2.7 V and -2.7 V references for low-voltage reference applications. The NH Research CAL300 weighs 25 pounds and has dimensions of 5â…“ inches by 17 inches by 14â…“ inches. It needs twenty minutes to warm up and operates between 23°C and 5°C in temperature.
