Pickering 40-967-078-F Breakout DIN Rail Mount
The 40-967-078-F from Pickering is a Breakout DIN Rail Mount that is capable of accommodating heavy-duty connection cables. Designed with a 78-pin female DSUB connector, this termination option uses rising clamp screw terminals to reduce the risk of copper strand damage. More specifically, the securing method used by the device is female 4-40 UNC screwlocks. Rising clamp describes a clamp mechanism that is raised vertically by tightening the screw. This reliable and reusable design that does not deteriorate with repeated use, offering a consistent and durable grip that can withstand frequent wire changes. Because of this, rising clamp is a preferred connection over conventional wire protector clamps.
The breakout ratings of the mount include a maximum current of 2 A and a maximum voltage of 200 V DC. Designed to securely attach to a DIN rail, the contact material of the device is a gold plated copper alloy. The resistance of the contact measures <20 mOhm. The maximum wire size for the screw terminals of the 40-967-078-F is 12 AWG.
