As an integral member of the Spirent TestCenter™ family, the MSA-2001B creates realistic traffic and delivers detailed analysis that ensures optimal network performance. In addition, the functional, performance, system, and conformance testing ensures suitability for broadband access, metropolitan, and enterprise network environments.
The MSA-2001B enables extensive testing of high-capacity LAN switching and routing protocols and broadband access performance. Supporting advanced features such as QoS prioritization, VLAN tagging, SLA bandwidth verification, and dozens of routing metrics, the MSA-2001B ensures exacting validation of network devices. With an unparalleled latency resolution of 10 nanoseconds, the MSA-2001B delivers unprecedented precision while eliminating the need for post-test corrections. It also supports a wide range of MSA optical and copper transceivers for flexible deployment.
The MSA-2001B features scalable and productive design: it allows two engineers to run independent tests on one 2-port module, while its architecture supports up to 24 ports in a 9U rackmount chassis or four ports in a portable chassis. The MSA-2001B leverages the Inspire Architecture™, enabling faster test creation, execution, and debugging, reducing overall costs and test cycle time. With its ability to manage realistic traffic conditions, the MSA-2001B supports complex use cases and accelerates time to market for network solutions.
Real-time capabilities such as event logging, traffic generation, and packet decoding with the MSA-2001B quickly resolve multi-protocol issues. Supporting priority-based scheduling, the MSA-2001B can handle voice, video, and data traffic simultaneously, emulating realistic network scenarios. Layer 4-7 testing guarantees that the MSA-2001B will comprehensively test upper-layer protocols in depth and increases the reliability of the advanced network device.
With advanced toolsets like the HyperFilters™ technology in place, the MSA-2001B allows for packet stream tracking and analysis down to 65,000 sub-streams.
