Keysight/Agilent E1351A 16-Channel FET Multiplexer
The E1351A from Keysight/Agilent is a 16-Channel FET Multiplexer supports precision signal routing applications across demanding automated measurement efficiently. It functions via register based VXI architecture within compact 1-slot installations. The E1351A FET Multiplexer has a built-in extended operation, which keeps thermal offset within 250 micro-Volts from 28 °C to 55 °C, and closed channel resistance is below 3.1 k-Ohms by ensuring accurate measurement integrity during acquisition procedures consistently. The powered down configurations maintain open FET states preventing unintended signal conduction across inactive measurement channels effectively. Powered startup conditions also preserve open states before receiving operational control commands from instrumentation management systems. The unlimited relay lifespan during unloaded conditions supports dependable long duration testing within repetitive automation environments consistently. The rated operational loads also maintain unlimited switching longevity through durable field effect transistor relay implementation across demanding applications reliably.
The minimum bandwidth of the unit reaches 500 kHz using specified source and termination impedance operating requirements successfully throughout. The unit accommodates waveform components through available terminal card installation spaces for customization. The screw terminal interfaces support wiring configurations between 16 AWG and 26 AWG conductor dimensions without modifications during installation. It uses P1 connector architecture supporting standardized VXI backplane communication. The register based slave functionality simplifies integration procedures within automated testing platforms requiring deterministic hardware communication protocols consistently. The E1351A's current requirements include 0.2 A consumption from positive 5 V operating supplies continuously during operation. The 12 V process requires 0.13 A supporting stable performance.
