The Keysight E6232A VXI Pentium PC Controller Windows 95 is a message-based controller for VXI systems reliably deployed. The unit is identified as a C-size platform supporting integrated control operations. Its architecture combines computing resources and bus management within two occupied VXI slots for efficient deployment. The memory capacity ranges from 16 MB through 128 MB using standard SODIMM upgrade modules for flexible scaling. The supported modes include 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, and 1280x1024 display modes for different application viewing requirements and preferences. The unit provides an internal storage of 2.16 GB for a hard drive that can be trusted to store data and host applications. A 3.5-inch floppy drive is used to receive and move legacy media for archival or exchange purposes.
The two PS/2 ports for direct system interaction needs are provided in the E6232A controller. An additional 1 EXM expansion slot is used to accommodate supported hardware enhancement modules to add additional functionality when needed later. The E6232A PC Controller design is C-sized and requires P1 and P2 connectors for system integration. The TTL and ECL trigger buses can reliably provide synchronized signaling between compatible modules during coordinated testing operations.
