Keysight/Agilent E4440A Spectrum Analyzer
The Keysight/Agilent E4440A Spectrum Analyzer is designed to deliver precise radio frequency and microwave measurements. Designed with a broad DC coupled frequency range from 3 Hz to 26.5 GHz and AC coupling beginning at 20 MHz, this analyzer meets the demands of diverse test environments. With the extensive frequency range of the analyzer, engineers can carry out complete spectral analysis with applications that include wireless communications, component testing of the RF type, and tests of electromagnetic compatibility within research, development, and manufacturing applications.
Internally, the E4440A combines a robust analog front-end with digital signal processing to deliver accurate frequency and amplitude information. The device employs a very stable frequency reference that removes aging-related calibration drift and temperature-related drift to deliver stable measurement performance with time. With a very low noise floor and very stable amplitude performance, the analyser is capable of measuring nuanced signal detail to deliver meaningful measurements of harmonic distortion and phase noise.
The instrument’s user-accessible architecture is made to operate with automated measurement systems. An easily readable front-panel user interface with a Type‑N female RF connector and 50‑ohm standard impedances is provided to allow setup and usage. Interfaces such as GPIB, LAN, and USB allow remote usage and convenient transfer of information to accommodate inclusion into larger measurement systems. External mixing and bypass of the preselector are also facilitated by the analyzer with increased flexibility to accommodate specialized measurements.
Built with durability and stability to support harsh outdoor and lab conditions, the E4440A is a performer that can support them all. While the rugged design of the device is compliant with even the most harsh industry requirements, it can be easily installed without compromising performance. Some of the standout features of the spectrum analyzer are it's trace detection, broad dynamic range amplitude fidelity, and fast processing capabilities. The Keysight/Agilent E4440A Spectrum Analyzer provides engineers with a strong solution to conduct detailed analysis of the RF signal. Its clean performance, extensive frequency range, and user-programmable interfaces translate to a convenient testing solution that enables innovation and quality in modern electronics design and production. Engineered with care to deliver clean, repeatable measurements that enable the performance of systems to be optimized to the requirements of rigorous tests.
