Keysight/Agilent P5007A Streamline USB Vector Network Analyzer

The Keysight P5007A is a 2-port Streamline USB Vector Network Analyzer with a maximum frequency of 44 GHz. It is designed for precise RF and microwave S-parameter measurements in laboratory and industrial automation environments. It connects to a host computer via USB and operates with a single built-in signal source. This architecture removes the need for an external chassis, making it suitable for portable deployments. The model’s wall outlet power is 120 V at 66 W or 240 V at 68 W maximum. The unit accepts AC input at 50 or 60 Hz for voltages between 100 and 240 V AC. The DC power is supplied through a Kycon KPJX-4S-S 4-pin connector rated at 15 V and 58 W.

The Keysight P5007A analyzer measures 176 mm in width and 48 mm in height. Its depth is 333 mm and total weight is 2.02 kg for manageable handling and deployment. The compact footprint allows it to be rack-mounted or placed on standard laboratory bench surfaces. These physical dimensions support flexible deployment in both fixed and portable measurement configurations. The network analyzer produces stable and repeatable RF output performance throughout its complete 44 GHz frequency band. The test ports of the P5007A USB VNA use 2.4 mm female connectors with 50 Ω nominal impedance. A center pin recession of 0.003 inches is defined as a characteristic value for the test port connectors. The MCX external reference input accepts signals from -3 to +10 dBm at 10 MHz ± 10 ppm. The reference output uses MCX and delivers 0 to ±3 dBm at 10 MHz ± 7 ppm.

The Keysight USB Network Analyzer is rated for operation at altitudes up to 2,000 meters above sea level. The unit tolerates non-operating altitudes of up to 4,572 meters for safe storage and transportation. The operating vibration tolerance is 0.3 G maximum from 5 Hz to 500 Hz. The non-operating vibration resistance extends to 0.75 G maximum over the 5 Hz to 500 Hz range.
