The Fluke 789 ProcessMeter offers a 24-volt loop power, an improved backlighting with 2 levels of brightness, 0 to 100% buttons for quick checks, an infrared port to process data using FlukeView software (V 2.1), a large double screen, an MA source with excitation capability up to 1200 ohms, configuration for HART mode with loop power, a built-in 250-ohm resistor, and fuses with access from the outside to facilitate replacement.
The Fluke 789 is the most innovative troubleshooting apparatus for circuit testers and instrumentation experts, mixing the usefulness of a loop calibrator with the power of a digital multimeter. By outfitting the 789 with a temperature estimation module and the wireless data logging capability of Fluke Connect® with the ShareLive ™ video call feature (sold independently), process specialists can accomplish considerably more with the possibility of transporting significantly less. Additionally, this model has an implicit, selectable, 250-ohm HART® resistor, which eliminates the need to carry an extra resistor.
