Keysight M9102A PXI Multiplexer
The Keysight M9103A utilizes an armature relay to provide 99 channels of 2-wire PXI multiplexing and provides the means for routing signals within automated test and data acquisition systems. Each channel has the capability to handle 100 VRMS, 1 A, and 60 W of power, which makes it well-suited for moderate power switching applications in aerospace/defense, automotive, medical, and semiconductors as well as other fields where validation testing is performed. An isolation switch is included to tie all closed channels to a common bus while also reducing both capacitive loading and leakage current issues when additional modules are added to expand upon existing systems. A high-density armature relay mux setup will be accomplished by connecting multiple modules together using a single 200-pin LFH connector. This allows for the use of either cable assemblies or terminal blocks for simple field wiring and facilitates reduced downtime for system maintenance.
The Keysight M9103A's fast 4.5 ms switch time reduces scan sequence times in production and characterization tests. Additionally, the Break-Before-Make design ensures that no two channels can be connected at the same time, thus eliminating damage to your sensitive instrumentation. The M9103A's 1 MHz bandwidth and less than 500 mΩ initial differential path resistance preserve signal fidelity throughout analog measurements. Typical thermal offsets of less than 5 µV will allow accurate low-voltage readings while channel-to-channel and channel-to-ground isolation is greater than 10? ohms under standard conditions to minimize crosstalk between channels. The M9103A's armature relays have been tested to endure over 2.5 million low-load operations and 100,000 cycle ratings at full rated power, making them reliable for long-term performance in high-throughput test cells.
Users can install this module into any PXI chassis that contains a cPCI (J1) slot, PXI-1 slot, or PCIe hybrid slot. This gives users the ability to expand their test systems. Users can access software support for this module via IVI-COM, IVI-C, and LabVIEW drivers as well as example source code for MATLAB, C/C++, and Visual Basic to speed development. In addition, a soft front panel is provided for immediate manual control, while Command Expert reduces development time for testing sequences, and Keysight's Connection Expert simplifies device discovery.
