National Instruments MCA-7790P Connector Accessory
The MCA-7790P (Part numbers: 779613-01, 193612B-01L) is a Connector Accessory. The NI MCA-7790P Accessory is used with the PCI-7390 Controller designed by National Instruments. The MCA-7790P is a part of the direct connectivity accessory devices. The PCI-7390 Controller is installed with NI Motion 7.2 drivers. The PCI Controller can be programmed with LabVIEW, LabWindows, and NI Motion Assistant application software. The PCI Controller is compatible for use with Windows 2000/XP and LabVIEW Real-Time ETS operating systems.
The NI MCA-7790P is a type of accessory utilized for the direct connectivity of controllers and drives. This accessory has three LEDs for each axis. The LEDs show home status, forward limit, and reverse limit. The MCA-7790P is specially designed for connecting Panasonic Mines A drives to the PCI-7390 Controller. The P in the MCA-7790P Accessory stands for Panasonic drives. The PCI-7390 Controller in the MCA-7790P provides a position and velocity feedback based on quadrature encoders (4-Axis position). The National Instruments MCA-7790P Accessory functions with a 24 V power supply.
The NI MCA-7790P Connector Accessory is operated with a 50-pin connecting cable with part number 194466-02. This cable is used to connect Panasonic drives to the MCA-7790P. The SCSI connecting cable with 100-pins can also be used with the MCA-7790P Connector Accessory. The cable is used for interfacing the MCA-7790P to the Panasonic drives.
MCA-7790P Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the Connector Accessory will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
