National Instruments NI-9922 Ingress Protection (IP) Enclosure

The NI-9922 is an outdoor ingress protection enclosure (IP) for electrical appliances. The NI-9922 is introduced by National Instruments. The NI-9922 is built with the part number 193406-01. The NI-9922 is affiliated with the IP enclosures specially designed for electrical apparatus protection. This Outdoor IP Enclosure is available with a power connector, Ethernet port, and a trigger connector. The Ethernet port and four-pin trigger connector are both sealed from the environment. The NI 9922 Enclosure kit is packed with two M25 cable clamps, a 2.4 GHz antenna, a DIN rail mounting clip, and other accessories.

The NI-9922 comes with an M12 male mating connector (trigger connector) and an M12 female mating connector (power connector). The National Instruments NI 9922 can additionally be utilized with four cable glands for input/output protection purposes. In four cable glands, the two are split type while the other two are blanking cable glands. The NI-9922 can be ordered with the field termination kit for Ethernet.

This Outdoor IP Enclosure is designed to hold one Wi-Fi data acquisition (DAQ) module from the WLS-9xxx wireless DAQ device series. The NI-9922 is prepared to protect DAQ devices with a minimum ingress protection (IP-54) from stiffness of outdoor and moisture from harsh outdoor and industrial settings. The IP 54 rating is determined by the standard of IEC-60529. The first digit in the IP rating describes the degree of protection the enclosure provides from solid particles. The second digit in the IP rating refers to the protection against water.
