National Instruments SMB-2148 Digital I/O Accessory
The National Instruments SMB-2148 (Part Number: 781519-01) is a Digital I/O Accessory. This accessory is designed for the NI-5751, which is a digitizer module for NI FlexRIO systems and applications. The NI SMB-2148 comes with 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs. All the input and output connectors are on the accessory’s front panel. The front panel also contains a VHDCI terminal and a ground connecter. This device does not require power from an external source to operate.
The SMB-2148 is a shielded accessory. For additional shielding, you can connect the ground connector to earth ground. In typical operating conditions, the propagation delay through this accessory remains around 1.2 ns, whereas the typical value for the channel-to-channel skew is ±35 ps. The characteristic impedance is 50 Ω. The SMB-2148 has a 68-pin VHDCI connector and 16 SMB jack connectors.
