The user-friendly design makes installing the UES-3880 a breeze. The switch features a pre-attached aluminum DIN-rail plate, simplifying the process for immediate use. To mount the NI UES-3880 on a DIN-rail, simply insert the top of the DIN-rail into the designated slot located just below the stiff metal spring. The DIN-rail attachment unit will securely snap into place.

To mount the UES-3880 onto a wall, first remove the aluminum DIN-rail attachment plate from the rear panel of the switch and attach the wall mount plates. Mark the appropriate screw locations using the switch with wall mount plates as a guide. Use screws with heads less than 6.0 mm in diameter and shafts less than 3.5 mm. Leave about 2 mm of room between the wall and the screws for sliding the wall mount panel. Next, insert the four screw heads through the large parts of the keyhole-shaped apertures and slide the NI UES-3880 downwards. Finally, tighten the four screws to ensure stability.
