National Instruments AT-MIO-64F-5 Multifunction I/O Board

Featured with 8 digital I/O lines and 4 triggers, the NI AT-MIO-64F-5 is a multifunction digital, analog and timing I/O board designed for desktop PCs. This board comes equipped with a 12-bit, 5 µsec sampling analog-to-digital converter (ADC) capable of scanning 32 differential or 64 single-ended channels at a broad range of programmable gain settings.

The NI AT-MIO-64F-5 comes with 2 double-buffered multiplying digital-to-analog converters (DACs). You can configure these DACs for either bipolar or unipolar voltage output range. This Multifunction I/O Board is a powerful solution for a variety of different applications, such as machine control, level monitoring, and control, process control automation, chromatography, transient analysis, signal analysis, etc.

The NI AT-MIO-64F-5 has a unique hardware structure as its board contain different circuitry for different functions including; analog input and analog output circuitries, digital input and output circuitries, timing input and output circuitry, etc. By design, the NI AT-MIO-64F-5 is a full-size PC I/O channel adapter that can be deployed in any 16-bit expansion slot of AT Series Computers.

This Multifunction I/O Device supports various input modes and can be configured to operate in one of these three modes: DIFF, RSE, or NRSE. The 8 digital I/O lines incorporated in this model are configured as two 4-bit ports. You can configure each port individually through programming. Each digital port initiates to accept input whenever the system is started up or goes through a reset. This model has a 10 MHz internal timebase as well.

AT-MIO-64F-5 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the board will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
