National Instruments part number 779003-01 is an identifying part number for the NI-9474, a C series Digital Module with 8 Digital Output Channels and 12V, 24V Digital I/O Logic Levels. The NI 779003-01 Digital Module is compatible with both the CompactDAQ and CompactRIO platforms. CompactDAQ combines data acquisition and signal conditioning in a single module, while CompactRIO offers a rugged and compact architecture with C Series modules integrated into a single instrument. Both platforms utilize NI LabVIEW software for operation. 

CompactRIO includes an FPGA component that users can reconfigure for customized time and trigger settings. LabVIEW software enables users to customize acquisition, analysis, visualization, and data management settings on the CompactDAQ platform. Additionally, it requires specific accessories for operation, including the NI-9927 Backshell Connector Kit for the screw terminal version and the NI-9981 Backshell Connector Kit for the spring terminal version. 

The NI 9474 module is available in two part numbers: 779003-01 and 783908-01. Both versions feature 8 digital sourcing output channels capable of 5 VDC to 30 VDC, with a maximum update rate of 1 µs. This allows direct interfacing with various industrial equipment such as relays, motors, and actuators. This module offers two connectivity options: the 779003-01 version features 10-position Screw Terminal front connectors, while the 783908-01 version features 10-position Spring Terminal front connectors. Neither version of the NI-9474 module is conformal coated, but both are enclosed for protection. 

The NI 779003-01 Digital Output Module features an output impedance ranging from 0.07 Ω to 0.13 Ω and supports a continuous output current of 1.0 A per channel. It includes 2,300 Vrms of transient overvoltage protection between the output channels and the backplane.
