National Instruments cDAQ-T1100 CompactDAQ Temperature Measurement Bundle
The cDAQ-T1100 Bundle (Part Number: 865662-01) from National Instruments is a portable, compact USB package for temperature measurement for accurate temperature measurement and monitoring in industry, laboratory, and R&D. It consists of the NI-9210 four-channel thermocouple input module and the NI cDAQ-9171 single-slot CompactDAQ chassis, resulting in a small, reliable and portable system for accurate, multi-channel temperature measurement.
The cDAQ-T1100 system supports a ±80 mV input range with a total sampling rate of 14 S/s for all channels combined. The NI-9210 input module has built-in signal conditioning features including anti-aliasing filters, cold-junction compensation and open-thermocouple detection which provide complete temperature measurement in the electrically noisy environment of modern industrial temperature monitoring. Each channel uses 24-bit delta-sigma ADC conversion techniques for high-resolution digitization of the signal, while channel fore-grounded earth isolation improves safety and eliminates noise to provide precision measurement.
The NI cDAQ-9171 chassis included is a rugged, bus-powered USB 2.0 interface which can be plugged directly into any computer with a USB 2.0 port requiring minimum configuration for "plug-and-play" operation. It allows the use of a large number of NI C Series I/O modules allowing expandability for additional sensing or control tasks if required. The timing accuracy of the chassis is 50 ppm and its resolution is 12.5 ns allowing precise timing on the data for time-critical applications if needed. The chassis is compact and ruggedly constructed for use in both laboratory and field testing.
Designed to work with NI software platforms such as LabVIEW, DAQExpress and FlexLogger, the cDAQ-T1100 makes software configuration, real-time data presentation and automated data logging of measurement easier. It is particularly suitable for temperature measurement in thermal profiling, process validation and environmental testing in manufacturing, aerospace and energy. The NI-9210 input module has precision measurement facility, while the NI cDAQ-9171 enables modular flexibility giving engineers a trusted and expandable means of temperature data acquisition.
