National Instruments sbRIO-9626 CompactRIO Single-Board Controller

Featured with 256 MB of nonvolatile storage and 512 MB of memory, the NI sbRIO-9626 (Part Number: 782126-01) is a Single-Board Embedded Controller for CompactRIO systems. This Controller is powered by a 400 MHz, Dual-Core processor. The NI sbRIO-9626 has various I/O ports including Ethernet, USB, CAN, SDHC, and serial ports. For serial communication, there is one RS-485 port and two RS-232 ports provided.

With this Controller, you get sixteen 16-bit Analog Input (AI) channels and four 16-bit Analog Output (AO) channels. The National Instruments sbRIO-9626 CompactRIO Single-Board Controller features an RMC connector. Thus, you can easily attach an RMC card (RIO Mezzanine Card) with this Controller to extend its capabilities, according to your hardware and software requirements.

The RMC connector is a high-throughput connector and has 96 single-ended DIO lines. These digital I/O lines maintain direct connectivity with the built-in FPGA of the sbRIO-9626. This arrangement brings you the ability to add various peripheral and two C Series modules to the Embedded Controller. To implement a selectable analog input range, this CompactRIO Single-Board Controller comes equipped with a PGIA to attenuate the input signal according to the selected input range. Thus, you can configure this Controller to operate with a user-defined input range per AI channel independently.

To attain more precise measurements, the NI sbRIO-9626 offers a differential measurement configuration in which two inputs are utilized for each measurement.  The USB ports incorporated in this Controller are designed to support various common storage devices, including USB-to-IDE adapters and USB Flash drives.

sbRIO-9626 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the CompactRIO Single-Board Controller will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
