National Instruments DAQCard-6715 Multifunction I/O Device

Featured with 2 counters/timers and 8 digital I/O lines, the DAQCard-6715 (Part Number: 778146-01) is a PCMCIA Multifunction I/O Device from National Instruments. This device comes with 8 analog outputs (12-bit) and can operate with an update rate up to 1 MS/s on each analog output channel. The NI DAQCard-6715 offers full external clocking and digital triggering functionality. Moreover, it can easily be configured through DAQmx for instant and precise measurements. This device is designed to operate as a Plug and Play device. Thus, you can add or remove this device from a running system without causing any interruptions. This Multifunction I/O Device comes equipped with a dedicated, 12-bit DAC per channel for voltage outputs. The NI DAQCard-6715 is an easy-to-configure device, since it doesn’t have any jumpers, DIP switches, or potentiometers. You can have this device configured or calibrated easily through software.

The NI DAQCard-6715 Multifunction I/O Device is designed for 5 Volt PC card slots that are commonly found in routine desktop computers. The eight voltage output channels on this device can be accessed through the I/O connector. Users can select a different reference for analog output channels through software. The eight digital I/O incorporated in this device are designed to support a broad range of routine applications. Each digital I/O line can be configured for input or output. When the DAQCard-6715 initiates, all the digital I/O lines go to their default mode which is high impedance. For timing and synchronization related applications, this device capitalizes on the DAQ-STC. 

DAQCard-6715 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the device will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
