With its 102.4 kS/s sample rate and 100 dB dynamic range, this instrument is specifically designed for sound and vibration measurements. With its 4-input/1-output channel configuration, it provides flexible capability to meet various demands in industrial automation.

The 780164-01 facilitates precise data acquisition from accelerometers and microphones by using integrated electronic piezoelectric (IEPE) signal conditioning. As it synchronizes smoothly with the input channels, its analog output channel makes stimulus-response testing easier. Strong performance in a variety of situations is guaranteed by the module, which supports a voltage range of ±10 V and offers overvoltage protection up to ±60 V.

Users are able to customize the device to meet particular measurement requirements by utilizing software-selectable IEPE signal conditioning (2.1 mA constant current). To improve compatibility and ease of integration, the module has the ability to read and write to transducer electronic data sheet (TEDS) Class 1 smart sensors.
