National Instruments PXI-4498 PXI Sound and Vibration Module
The NI PXI-4498 (Part Numbers: 779747-01 and 779747-02 with Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite) Sound and Vibration Module has simple and automated signal activation for acquisition with two modes of operation. The shooting sources can originate from any analog input channel, external digital trigger input, or PXI trigger bus. The outside computerized trigger, which is good with 5 V TTL/CMOS, is initiated by the ascending or descending edge option. When it is utilized as part of the beginning trigger mode, the NI PXI-4498 acquires signals only after the trigger condition has occurred. In the reference shooting mode, the gadget can acquire signals before and after the shooting condition happens. Releasing is frequently utilized in applications with transient signals. For instance, when estimating vibrations results from hitting a mechanical structure with a hammer, the acquisition of accelerometer signals is activated by the effect of the hammer.
The NI PXI-4498 module utilizes two 4X InfiniBand connectors, with every connector carrying eight simple input channels, AI0-7, and AI8-15. The 4X InfiniBand is broadly utilized as a part of superior computing applications since it gives astounding signal integrity with a shield plate between signal connection pairs, decreasing crosstalk between inputs.
The NI PXI-4498 module is appropriate for noise and vibration analysis applications, which can particularly be addressed with the NI Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite. The suite has two parts: the NI Sound and Vibration Assistant and LabVIEW examination VIs (capacities) for controlling spectra, recurrence reaction, fragmentary octave investigation, audio level estimations, arranging spectra, arranging maps, arranging extraction, sensor adjustment, human vibration channels, and torsional vibration.
The PXIe-4498 has a "Last Time Buy" date of March 28, 2024 from NI- but it will remain available for purchase and repair with Apex Waves.
