National Instruments PXI-4496 PXI Sound and Vibration Module

The NI PXI-4496 (Part Numbers: 779748-01 and 779748-02) Sound and Vibration Module is particularly intended for sound and vibration applications. 779748-01 is the standard module, whereas 779748-02 comes with the Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite software. With sixteen 24-bit simple sources of input per module and IEPE constant current signal conditioning, the NI PXI-4496 module is perfect for making exactness estimations with amplifiers, accelerometers, and different transducers that have vast dynamic extents. The module conveys up to 114 dB of dynamic range and synchronous testing on every one of the 16 channels at rates up to 204.8 kS/s.

The NI PXI-4496 module utilizes a technique for A/D conversion known as delta-sigma regulation. With this innovation, input signals are oversampled or tested at many times the chosen data rate and then applied to a digital filter. The NI PXI-4496 Sound and Vibration Module consolidates delta-sigma balancing ADCs, resulting in phenomenal phase linearity while keeping up low noise and distortion.

For this module, it is possible to antialias all the input channels that utilize both analog and digital filters used in hardware to prevent aliasing. Signals are first passed through fixed analog filters to expel any signals with recurrence segments past the scope of the ADCs. Then, antialiasing filters consequently modify their cutoff frequencies to evacuate any recurrence parts above a large portion of the modified examining rate. This specific architecture implies that the user does not have to add more outside channels to prevent aliasing.
