Part Number 777060-01 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments PXI-6070E PXI Multifunction Data Acquisition Device. This device from the E Series of NI’s PXI DAQs is used for high-performance and high-reliability data acquisition applications.

The 777060-01 features 16 single-ended analog input channels that are connected to a successive approximation type A/D Converter with a resolution of 12 bits. Depending on the type of used disk, the device can support a maximum sampling rate of 1.25 MS/s. Likewise, the size of the FIFO buffer is 512 S. The data transfer takes place through DMA (having 3 channels and operating in scatter-gather mode), interrupts, or programmed I/O. Furthermore, the configuration memory size is 512 words. 

On the other hand, the 777060-01 has two analog outputs that are connected to a double-buffered, multiplying DAC with a resolution of 12 bits. Similarly, the FIFO buffer size for the analog output is 2048 S. The data transfer methods and the DMA modes are the same as that for the analog input. 

In addition to analog I/O, the 777060-01 also features digital I/O capabilities with 8 TTL-compatible channels. Data transfers take place through programmed I/O and the maximum data transfer rate (system-dependent) can reach up to 50 kwords/s. For the digital logic level, the input low voltage lies between 0V (min) to 0.8V (max) whereas the input high voltage is between 2.0V (min) to 5.0V (max). On the other hand, a maximum of 0.4V is considered output low voltage whereas a minimum of 4.35V is considered output high voltage. 

The power requirement for the 777060-01 is different for the bus and the I/O connector. The bus requires 1.1A of current at +5 VDC (±5%) whereas the power available at the I/O connector is +4.65 to +5.25 VDC at 1 A. Likewise, the device features both analog and digital triggering and the max source frequency is 20 MHz. The device measures 6.3 in. × 3.9 in, weighs 7.1 oz, and is recommended for use between 0 to 55 °C.
