National Instruments 785639-01 Voltage Input Device for FieldDAQ

Part Number 785639-01 identifies the National Instruments FD-11603 Voltage Input Device for FieldDAQ. The 785639-01 features 8 analog input channels with galvanic isolation between the channels and the chassis. Likewise, the device has a Delta-sigma ADC with a resolution of 24 bits and analog prefiltering. The input channels support a voltage range of ±10.5 V. The timebase frequency can be configured to 13.1072 MHz, 12.8 MHz, 12.288 MHz, and 10.24 MHz, with an accuracy of ±30 ppm maximum. The sample rate ranges from a minimum of 500 samples/s to a maximum of 102.4 kSamples/s.

This 785639-01 supports TCP/IP and UDP protocols, using a variety of network ports: HTTP:80 (configuration only), TCP:3580; UDP:5353 (configuration only), TCP:5353 (configuration only); TCP:31415; UDP:7865 (configuration only), and UDP:8473 (configuration only). It has a default MTU size of 1500 bytes. Additionally, it has two internally-switched 8-pin X-coded M12 ports for Ethernet communication. The communication rates are auto-negotiated between 10/100/1000 Mbps. The maximum cabling distance is 100 meters per segment, with a maximum of 15 hops per line. Furthermore, it uses IEEE 802.1AS protocol for network synchronization over 1000 Base-TX interface.

The 785639-01 supports an input voltage range of 9 VDC to 30 VDC, with a maximum power consumption of 7.5 W. Both power input and output use a 5-pin L-coded male M12 connector. The recommended torque for M12 connectors is 0.6 Nm. The maximum current for the Power IN/OUT terminals is 10 A, and a 16 A slow blow fuse is suggested for external overcurrent protection.
