National Instruments part number 777517-00 is an identifying part number for the FP-1000 a Network Interface for FieldPoint with a RS-485 Repeater Port and a RS-232 Serial Port. In addition, the module features 9 terminal bases per bank. The NI 777517-00 serves as a central interface module within the FieldPoint I/O system, supporting connectivity for over nine FieldPoint I/O modules via RS232. It can manage up to 25 network modules or 225 I/O modules on an RS-485 network. Facilitating communication between I/O modules and a host PC, the FP-1000 utilizes a local high-speed bus protocol.
