Featured with 8 single-ended inputs, the NI FP-AI-102 (Part Number: 777518-102) is a versatile Analog Input Module. This model is designed explicitly for FieldPoint and Compact FieldPoint. The FP-AI-102 offers precise voltage measurements within a broad range. Moreover, it can also be employed for the measurement of 0 mA to 20 mA or 4 mA to 20 mA current loops from transmitters and sensors generally used in the process, power generation, and manufacturing industry.

The NI FP-AI-102 is an ideal choice for a variety of applications, such as fuel-cell testing, battery-back monitoring, and other transducer measurements. This Analog Input Module comes equipped with integrated over-ranging and diagnostic functions as well. These functions ensure trouble-free, quick installation and maintenance. For instant high accuracy measurements, the user can directly connect the FP-AI-102 to units under test or industrial sensors. For safe operation of the module, optical bank isolation is provided with up to 2300 Vrms of breakdown isolation. In addition, double insulation is implemented to provide operational isolation of up to 250 Vrms.

FieldPoint and Compact FieldPoint modules, such as the FP-AI-102, come with an integrated power supply bus that offers redundant power connections on the module. The NI AI-102 module has 8 Voltage input terminals, 16 common terminals, and 8 power terminations to supply power to associated field devices.
