National Instruments FP-AIO-610 Analog I/O Module for FieldPoint

The FP-AIO-610 (Part Number: 777518-610) is a FieldPoint Four-Channel Input/Output Module from National Instruments. This module has four analog input channels and four analog output channels. The FP-AIO-610 additionally has 12-bit resolution. The current input channels of the Analog I/O Module come with a variety of ranges. The range for voltage signals is from ±5 volts to ±30 Volts with different step intervals. The input channels have ±20, 0-20, and 4-20 mA input ranges for current sources. This module also offers 20% input overranging, which means the input range goes up to ±36 V or ±24 mA. The input terminal is provided for each input channel.

The NI FP-AIO-610 has an output range of ±10 or 0-10 Volts. This module also offers the extra 2% output range. Each output channel has one output terminal (V out). The voltage outputs of the FP-AIO-610 sink or source up to 10 mA per channel.

The National Instruments FP-AIO-610 has hardware which updates at a rate of 1.4 kHz. This NI module also has an onboard diagnostics system. The diagnostics system includes one out-of-range indicator for all inputs, as well as one overcurrent indicator for each output. The current inputs are well protected up to ±10 Volts.
