National Instruments 782510-01 RF Adapter Module for FlexRIO

Part Number 782510-01 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments NI-5791 RF Adapter Module for FlexRIO. The 782510-01 supports an RF frequency range of 200 MHz to 4.4 GHz and has an instantaneous bandwidth of 100 MHz. The tuning resolution is less than 250 kHz. Similarly, the LO step size in integer mode can take values of 4 MHz, 6 MHz, 12 MHz, and 24 MHz while a step size of only 100 kHz is supported in fractional mode.

The 782510-01 has a 14-bit dual-channel ADC with a sampling rate of 130 MS/s. On the other hand, it features a 16-bit dual-channel DAC that has the same sampling rate but it can be interpolated to 520 MS/s. Note that the module can be configured in different settings: Instantaneous bandwidth up to 100 MHz, 1 transmitter channel, 16-bit, 520 MS/s (4× interpolation), and 1 receiver channel, 14-bit, 130 MS/s. The module comes with a sample clock that has a frequency of 130 MHz. The reference clock has a frequency of 10 MHz. 

The 782510-01 has 12 bidirectional AUX I/O channels (8 digital I/O and 4 PFI) and works on the 3.3 LVCMOS interface standard. Likewise, it uses an HDMI connector. 0.8 V is the highest low-level voltage (VIL) that may be supported by the digital inputs, while 2.0 V is the lowest high-level voltage (VIH). On the other hand, the digital outputs have a maximum low-level output voltage (VOL) of 0.4 V, and the minimum and maximum high-level output voltage (VOH) are 2.7 V and  3.6 V respectively. The maximum toggle frequency for all outputs is 6.6 MHz while the overvoltage protection is  ±10 V.

The 782510-01 is recommended for operation between temperatures of  0 °C to 55 °C at a relative humidity of 10% to 90%. Similarly, it is intended exclusively for indoor usage and ought to be used at elevations no higher than 2000 meters. On the other hand, it can be stored between  -40 °C to 70 °C at a relative humidity of 5% to 95%.
