The National Instruments 785591-01 is a high performance PXI FlexRIO Digitizer designed for advanced signal acquisition and processing applications. The model is also known as the PXIe-5775. It provides dual channel AC coupled analog input with a bandwidth of 6 GHz and a resolution of 12 bits. The device supports two operational modes: a dual channel mode at 3.2 GS/s and a single channel interleaved mode at 6.4 GS/s. This digitizer offers eight single ended channels with support for multiple voltage families (3.3 V, 2.5 V, 1.8 V, 1.5 V, and 1.2 V). The digital I/O channels are bi directional that allows for configurable direction control on a per channel basis with a maximum output toggle rate of 60 MHz. The 785591-01 is equipped with a reconfigurable Xilinx Kintex UltraScale FPGA which supports real time signal processing and custom algorithm implementation. The internal sample clock runs at 3.2 GHz along with the option to use an external sample clock ranging from 2.8 GHz to 3.2 GHz. The device’s ADC provides a 12 bit resolution that ensures accurate digitization of analog signals. The input latency is kept low at 239 ns which is crucial for time sensitive applications.
