National Instruments R6850 Ribbon Cable
The R6850 (Part Number: 776842-01) Ribbon Cable is a cost-effective solution to achieve connectivity between a 68-pin plug-in board and a 50-pin accessory. The Back End Connection is a 68-Pin, Female D-SUB connector and the Front End Connection is a 50-Pin, Female IDC connector. This Cable Assembly contains two components: a 68-to-50–pin adapter (Part Number: 182420-01) and a 1.0 m NB1 Cable (Part Number: 180524-10). The NB1 Ribbon Cable has a 50-pin female connector. In addition, an installation guide is available as part number 320671-01. The NI R6850 is often used with National Instruments DAQ boards, such as the AT-MIO-16X.
The NB1 Cable provided with the R6850 Cable is used for connection between the 50-pin assembly and the 50-pin connector of the adapter. The 68-pin connector of the adapter plugs into the 68-pin connector provided on the plug-in board. The National Instruments R6850 Ribbon Cable Assembly does not have twisted pairing. This Ribbon Cable Assembly has 1 ribbon connection. If you require longer or shielded cabling, then consider SH6868 or SH6850 cables, which are available in lengths up to 10 m.
