Part Number 783167-01 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments PS-14 DC Power Supply. The power supply comes equipped with a set of features that makes it ideal for powering motors, charging capacitors, and absorbing reverse energy. Some of these features are small size, a wide input range of 100 to 240 V, high efficiency (up to 89.8%), 150% peak load capability, DC input range of 110 to 300 VDC, and active power factor correction.

The 783167-01 has a nominal AC input voltage range of 100 to 240 VAC while it can sustain a minimum of 264 to 300 VAC for less than 500 ms. The nominal input frequency is 50 to 60 Hz (±6%). Likewise, the typical input current is 1.5 A at 100 VAC, 1.24 A at 120 VAC, and 0.68 A at 230 VAC given that it is outputting 24 V, 3.3 A. Likewise, there is an output overvoltage protection for a maximum of 39 VDC. In addition, it also features an electronically limited output over-current protection, penetration protection, and over-temperature protection.
