National Instruments 781219-01 2-Port Vector Network Analyzer

The National Instruments 781219-01 is a compact and versatile 2 port Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) designed for PXI Express systems. The model is also known as the PXIe-5630. This VNA is equipped to perform vector measurements of transmission (S21) and reflection (S11) coefficients across a broad frequency range of 10 MHz to 6 GHz. The model is ideal for automated design validation and production testing due to its wide dynamic range, high measurement accuracy and rapid sweep speeds.

The 781219-01 model frequency accuracy is maintained at ±2.5 ppm that is augmented by internal or external timebase aging and temperature stability mechanisms. The internal timebase ensures reliable operation with an aging rate of ±1 ppm and temperature stability of ±2.5 ppm/°C. The module offers a power range of +5 dBm to -30 dBm along with an accuracy of ±2 dB at 5 dBm test port power and ±4 dB at any test port power. This power range and accuracy are crucial for accurate signal characterization. The power step resolution of 0.5 dB further adds to its flexibility that allows users to finely adjust the signal power for various measurement needs.
