782366-01, 3289 g, 25 MHz, 533 nHz, PXIe-5667 RF Vector Signal Analyzer
National Instruments 782366-01 Vector Signal Analyzer
The National Instruments 782366-01 or PXIe-5667 Vector Signal Analyzer is a high performance PXI Express based system designed for advanced spectrum monitoring and signal analysis applications. This analyzer operates within a frequency range of up to 7 GHz. The system is equipped with a sub octave bandwidth preselection feature which enhances signal fidelity by minimizing spurious signals and reducing the potential for interference. The 782366-01 has an impressive noise figure of less than 12 dB which ensures high sensitivity and accuracy in detecting weak signals. The analyzer is also equipped with seven analog intermediate frequency (IF) filters, or roofing filters which offer selectable bandwidths ranging from 30 kHz to 50 MHz. These filters are crucial for minimizing noise and improving signal resolution. The flexibility in filter selection allows users to optimize the analyzer's performance based on specific signal characteristics and analysis requirements.
The Vector Signal Analyzer is built using a modular architecture consisting of five key PXI Express modules: the PXIe-5622 IF Digitizer, PXIe-5694 IF Conditioning Module, PXIe-5603 or PXIe-5605 RF Signal Downconverter, PXIe-5653 RF Analog Signal Generator and the PXIe-5693 RF Preselector Module. Each module plays a critical role in the signal acquisition and processing chain. The RF Downconverter handles the initial signal capture and frequency downconversion, while the IF Digitizer and Conditioning Module ensures accurate digitization and conditioning of the signal before analysis. The NI 782366-01 also offers advanced tuning capabilities with a resolution of 533 nHz. It supports various bandwidth configurations with the standard setup offering a 25 MHz equalized bandwidth expandable to 50 MHz with an optional configuration.
The analyzer's spectral purity is maintained through its low single sideband (SSB) phase noise. The system supports phase coherent measurements across multiple channels that ensure accurate and synchronized analysis in complex scenarios. The 782366-01 complies with rigorous safety and electromagnetic compatibility standards, including IEC 61010-1 and EN 61326-1. It is capable of operating in diverse environmental conditions with a maximum operating temperature of 55 °C and a relative humidity range of 10 % to 90 %. The system is also robust against mechanical stress and withstands operating shocks up to 30 g and random vibrations.
